MM2H is a long-term residency program that grants successful applicants a renewable multiple-entry Social Visit Pass. Depending on the chosen category, this pass can be valid for up to 20 years. Program Categories
MM2H offers three main categories to cater to different financial capacities:
Platinum
Fixed Deposit: USD 1 million (approx. MYR 4.5 million)
Visa Duration: 20 years (renewable)
Minimum Age: 25 years
Additional Benefits: Permission to work or conduct business, eligibility to bring a domestic helper.
Gold
Fixed Deposit: USD 500,000 (approx. MYR 2.25 million)
Visa Duration: 15 years (renewable)
Minimum Age: 25 years
Additional Benefits: Permission to work or conduct business.
Silver
Fixed Deposit: USD 150,000 (approx. MYR 675,000)
Visa Duration: 10 years (renewable)
Minimum Age: 25 years
Additional Benefits: Ideal for retirees and those seeking a peaceful lifestyle.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for MM2H, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Age: Minimum of 25 years old.
Financial Stability: Meet the fixed deposit requirements as per the chosen category.
Health: Pass a medical examination and possess valid medical insurance.
Character: Provide a Letter of Good Conduct from the relevant authorities in your home country.
Application Process
1. Document Preparation:
- Valid passport with at least 18 months of validity.
- Proof of financial stability (bank statements for fixed deposit).
- Medical report and insurance policy.
- Letter of intent and other supporting documents.
2. Submission:
Applications are submitted to the Immigration Department of Malaysia, often via an authorized MM2H agent.
3. Processing:
Processing fees vary by category, with professional fees ranging from MYR 40,000 to MYR 70,000.
4. Approval:
Approved applicants receive a renewable Social Visit Pass (Multiple Entry Visa).

Special Economic Zones (SEZs) in Malaysia are designated areas that offer unique incentives and benefits to businesses.
